Virgen delos Remedios Parish Mass Schedule

The Trinitarian Order, which was established in the late 12th century, gave the Virgin Mary the titles of Our Lady of Los Remedios and the Virgin of Los Remedios (La Virgen de los Remedios and Nuestra Seora de los Remedios, respectively). The devotion came to be associated with Spain’s Reconquista, which was still ongoing at the time. It expanded to other regions of Europe in the century that followed. It was one of the Spanish conquistadors’ favorite devotions when they started their exploration and conquest of the Americas. In Spain and Latin America, it is still a widely practiced religion.
