The Lord's Transfiguration Parish Mass Schedule

One of the chapels in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish used to be the Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish church. The community worked together to erect the little chapel made of lightweight materials on the land given by the late Col. Salome Alfonte. The parish priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Msgr. Cesar Pagulayan, blessed it in 1981. The neighborhood realized it needed its own parish as the number of churchgoers increased. The Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish was therefore founded on July 29, 1981, with Fr Amado Cruz, SJ, as the first parish priest, at the suggestion of the parish priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and with the blessing of Jaime Cardinal Sin.
