St. Joseph The Worker Parish Bacolod Mass Schedule

St. Joseph the Worker Parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bacolod was established on 1991. It is located in Brgy. Taculing, City of Bacolod, Province of Negros Occidental. Every first of May, the Parish Fiesta is held. It is regarded as the country’s first instance of contemporary holy architecture and a piece of its industrial legacy. It has St. Joseph the Worker as its dedication. The Czech architect Antonin Raymond, who is often credited with founding modern architecture in Japan, designed the church. Given that the Philippines is in an earthquake zone, Raymond built the church to be earthquake-resistant. The nave and the tower are the two parts that make up the St. Joseph the Worker Chapel. They are joined by moveable beams that support the structure.
