San Pedro Cathedral Mass Schedule

A Roman Catholic cathedral called the Saint Peter Metropolitan Cathedral is situated in Barangay 2-A, Poblacion District, Davao City, Philippines. It is also known as the San Pedro Cathedral or the Davao Cathedral. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Davao has its ecclesiastical seat in the cathedral, which is devoted to Saint Peter.In the same location as the existing cathedral, a previous church that was allegedly constructed in the Neo-Gothic style was constructed in 1847. Due to the church’s modest size, the Diocese of Davao began fundraising efforts to enlarge it in the 1960s. The new church was designed by architect Chiew, and it was modeled after an ark, hence the cross’s pointed front.
