Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral ( Baguio Cathedral) Mass Schedule

The Congregatio Immaculati Cordis Mariae, a group of Belgian missionaries, built a Catholic mission chapel in 1907 and dedicated it to St. Patrick. The Ibaloi people used to call the hill where the cathedral is now located Kampo. Under the direction of the parish priest, Rev. Florimond Carlu, construction on the cathedral itself started in 1920. The building was finished and sanctified in 1936. Our Lady of Atonement received a dedication for it. The cathedral survived the carpet-bombing of Baguio by the Allies on March 15, 1945, when the city was liberated while serving as an evacuation hub during World War II. The cathedral’s grounds include the graves of the thousands of victims of the bombardment.
