Jesus Nazareno Parish Mass Schedule

The Black Nazarene is a life-sized statue of a dark-skinned, kneeling Jesus Christ bearing the Cross that is housed in the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene in the Quiapo neighborhood of the City of Manila. It is also known by the Spanish and Filipino names El Nazareno Negro and Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno.
The towns of Opol, Alubijid, Laguindingan, Gitagum, Lugait, Naawan, Initao, Libertad, and Manticao are part of the expanding Metropolitan Cagayan de Oro region, which also includes the city of El Salvador and the towns of Tagoloan, Villanueva, Jasaan, Claveria, and Balingasag on the eastern side. Additionally serving as the regional hub is Cagayan de Oro. The Jesus Nazareno Parish of the Cagayan de Oro Roman Catholic Archdiocese was established in December 1958. It is located in the province of Misamis Oriental, in Cagayan de Oro City. Every month in January, the second Sunday is the day of the Parish Fiesta.
