Nepo Mall Angeles, Angeles City

The Nepo Mart in Angeles City opened its doors in October 1968 with more than 200 stallholders. The Nepomucenos built the market after establishing an electric power company, ice plant, and soda factory, according to Erlita Mendoza, who documented the lives, enterprises, and civic works of the couple in the book “A Cofradia of Two.” This one-story market is a part of an 11-hectare commercial complex that Juan and Teresa Nepomuceno own and run through their son Peter, an engineer.
