Saint Francis of Assisi Parish Mass Schedule
Eight Portuguese Franciscan friars who arrived in Goa in 1517 founded Francis of Assisi and a convent. The first church was initially a tiny chapel that was converted into a church in 1521 and dedicated in 1602. The current edifice, constructed in 1661, took the place of the earlier one.
